Sustainability, our main investment criterion

All our assets meet high ESG standards, ensuring the highest quality of our asset portfolio in the fields of health, well-being, and respect for the environment.

We promote sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. Therefore, in addition to aligning with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, Wellder has adopted the following additional commitments:

  • GRESB (Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark): “To achieve a minimum rating of 4 stars in GRESB, we focus on implementing energy efficiency practices, waste management, and responsible water use in all our real estate projects, as well as promoting the integration of renewable energy whenever possible.”
  • BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method): “Our commitment is to certify 100% of our assets under the BREEAM standard, ensuring that each building meets rigorous environmental sustainability criteria from material selection to design and operation. Additionally, for our new developments, we commit to achieving a minimum rating of ‘Excellent,’ incorporating innovative technologies and eco-efficient solutions at all stages of the project.”
  • CRREM (Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor): “In line with the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C, we commit to following the decarbonization pathway established by CRREM. This involves taking concrete measures to reduce the carbon emissions of our existing assets to be at least 5 years ahead of this pathway by implementing energy efficiency strategies and transitioning to cleaner energy sources. For our new developments, we commit to being 15 years ahead of the pathway by integrating sustainable construction concepts and low-carbon technologies from the design phase.”
